Weiner or Eddie Long

There is an acute difference between the Eddie Long case and the Anthony Weiner case. One key aspect of the case of Weiner is that it is a public official that works for the government. Eddie Long is a public official that works for God. Both the government and the church claims to be under the jurisdiction of God. I however am intrigued to see how Mr. Weiner constituents are claiming that he step down. I have seen that some of Eddie Long's constituents have backed him, ( see Creflo Dollar's comments.). I know there is a difference between the way a church and political office is officiated but it is interesting to see the contrast. Because of the damage one party member can do with their immoral actions many members of the party will seek resignation. Now in contrast to the church, will this happen to the same degree. The damage of a clergy member's immoral acts can have the same damage to that ministry and adversely represent that faith . I'm not sure if Eddie long did what he is alleged to have done in contrast to Weiners admission of guilt; but merely putting yourself in that situation could be presented as contrary to what you have been called to do. What do you feel. Should Eddie Long's constituents call him to step down like Weiner's did.

This blog is to merely present a point and ask a question.
