There is much to say about the journey traveled. Around December and May I love to go to the graduations to celebrate the transition of a person from one level to the next. I often wonder how it is so joyous on these occasions. No thoughts of the bitter days or intense struggles often faced to accomplish our goals. All we feel our immense feelings of happiness for this momentous milestone. There is no joy without pain. No accomplishment without sacrifice and often no success without struggle. Though it may be hard to push through those days of drudgery to those moments of elite joy I encourage you to push on. I am so happy for all the graduates at my alma mater Lamar University. This was one of the first graduations were I truly felt connected to all the joy the people walking across the stage were feeling. All I could think about is how their triumph was first met with obstacle and plight but they continued to push on. For this I encourage everyone to push on through whatever you are going through.
